Weighing in on the country’s energy consumption also means giving our money to more virtuous companies. Did you know that there are 8 energy cooperatives in Luxembourg in which to invest to contribute to the energy transition?

To become a member, all you have to do is buy one or more shares (all the info on the cooperatives’ websites), and you will have set up a concrete support for the Energy Transition!
You can also subscribe to a “green” energy offer: it only takes a few minutes to change your energy supplier!
Beware, all these offers do not mean the same thing: some companies do not produce green energy themselves but buy certificates from producers.
It is not necessarily a bad thing to subscribe to these offers because you are contributing to the demand for more virtuous energy, but it is important to know what you are buying!
In Luxembourg, you can subscribe to a green energy offer from any supplier for a very modest price difference (a few dozen euros per year): so check which offer you have subscribed to and change it for a greener one.
